Know Your BCycle
We work hard to make sure that each BCycle in our fleet is in working order. If you ever find a problem with your bike, report it through the BCycle app or contact Customer Service: info@houstonbikeshare.org or (713) 865-3662.

Basket
BCycles have different types of basket configurations. A larger basket in front is perfect for a backpack or your farmer’s market haul. Smaller baskets will easily fit a laptop bag. Pro Tip: Be sure to secure your cell phone under something, like the lock coil.
Gears
Houston is a notoriously flat city, but we’ve got three gears to get you up and down the occasional hill.
Lights & Reflectors
The BCycle’s front and back lights come on when you start to pedal and we’ve got reflectors in all the right places.
Brakes
Houston BCycles are equipped with front and rear hand brakes.
Tires
Sturdy, puncture-resistant tires will give you a smooth ride on Houston’s roads.
Seat
An adjustable, cushioned seat post allows for a custom fit. Seat angle is tilted slightly upward, as the bikes are meant for an upright riding position.
Splash Guard and Chain Guard
Coverage allows for a dry, clean ride.
