Join BikeHouston, StopTxDOT I-45, and EaDo Bike Co. this Saturday, August 28th @ 8 am as we explore parts of our Houston community-- particularly neighborhoods slated to be displaced or impacted by the I-45 freeway expansion. As designed, TxDOT’s North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP) would expand I-45’s right of way paving over bikeways, homes, businesses, and green spaces and will fundamentally alter the neighborhoods it passes through.

An important vote about this project is being held on Tuesday August 31st and this ride will come with an opportunity to voice your concerns to the decision makers, the Texas Transportation Commission.
